About Chez Ma Poule

The moment the pizza arrives, with its golden crust and generous, bubbling toppings, it becomes clear why many turn to Chez Ma Poule when searching for a satisfying slice in Paris. The balance of fresh ingredients against a mildly charred base offers a comforting familiarity with a touch of artisanal care. While the menu might not stray far from traditional varieties, there is an evident respect for quality that keeps each pie engaging. Patrons browsing photos from various visits often highlight the vibrant presentation, a factor that complements the tactile pleasure of dining. Though not a vast selection, the curated offerings here showcase a focused effort rather than an overwhelming spread.

Atmosphere mingles thoughtfully with the dining experience, providing a quietly bustling backdrop without overpowering conversation. The dining area, modest yet inviting, features subtle lighting that shifts gently with the progression of the evening. It's this kind of ambiance that allows guests to appreciate not just the food but the moment itself. Among the scattered Chez Ma Poule reviews, consistent mention is made of attentive, if unhurried, service—friendly enough to feel welcoming yet distant enough to preserve privacy. Occasional waits during peak hours hint at the popularity of this restaurant, though the pace rarely becomes a source of frustration. The balance between value and authenticity becomes clearer as the evening unfolds.

In the broader context of Parisian pizza establishments, Chez Ma Poule stands out for its understated charm rather than overt extravagance. Visitors intrigued by the culinary offerings often explore various Chez Ma Poule + menu options online before arriving, finding that the reality aligns closely with expectations. While the experience may lack some of the theatricality or inventive flair seen in trendier spots, it compensates with a sincere dedication to well-executed basics. The modest dessert selection might leave some curious for more creative closure, but it fits the overall tone of straightforward, well-prepared fare. Such restrained choices contribute to a cohesive culinary narrative that holds its own quietly but confidently.

Wonderful food and service. The pizza dough was so good I would never guess it was glutenfree and the place itself just feels very cosy and inviting

This is a very small traditional Italian pizzeria. In side they have seating for 20 to 25 covers, there is a small covered outside area as well, but you only want to be there in summer. The menu is always changing, written on a blackboard and only in French, but the waiter speaks good English. Not a large selection of options, mostly pizza's, with a couple of pasta dishes when we visited Dec. 23 The pizzas are thin based as they should be, nice tomato based topping and then your choice of flavours on that. They only had two deserts available when we were there, both chocolate flavoured. Very rich and tasty. The prices are very good, I would happily go back again.

Very nice experience. Hanging around, stoped by for a drink… ended enjoying a delicious pizza as well. Very nice place and very welcoming waitress. I absolutely recommend.

A little diamond in Paris! Very good menus, all made with the best Italian ingredients. Pizzas with a maisbased dough, gluten free! One of the best places we ate during our 5 day stay in Paris. The service was perfect, good advise on all the menus and wines. And the setting is so cossy, not that many seats available, which make the experience even more personal. Make your reservations in time!

This is a really nice hip restaurant. EVERYTHING is gluten free which is really dificult to find in france. They have amazing pizza's, nice desserts and a good atmosphere. If you want a tasty inexpensive (gluten free) meal I would really recommend this restaurant. The staff also speak English really well.

Tucked away in the 16th, “Chez Ma Poule” is a charming little spot that instantly makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, perfect for a casual dinner or quiet night out. Everything speaks to you in this place. Their pizza made with organic corn flour is a real standout, it’s light, crisp, and full of flavor. It’s a refreshing twist on the classic, and clearly made with quality ingredients and care. What truly made the experience special was the service. The waitress was exceptionally kind, professional, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality in Paris. I’ll definitely be back!
